Mint and Black Pepper Strawberries

Pow!  Super fresh minty explosion.  Zing! Spicy black pepper hits the senses.  Zowee! Sweet, tangy, juicy strawberry goodness.  It might sound weird but it’s a delicious summer thrill. 

Makes 4-6 servings

1 package strawberries, remove stems and cut in quarters
6 large leaves mint, sliced thinly
2 teaspoons sugar
Fresh cracked black  pepper

Toss strawberries, mint, sugar and 5 turns of fresh cracked black pepper.  Mix, let sit for a few minutes in the refrigerator and serve.


Serve over angel food cake, sponge cake or ice cream
